Climate change issues are arising interest not only among government officials, experts, civil society representatives, students, and teachers but also among the general public.
Therefore, in today's publication, we would like to remind you what the purpose of our portal is and what kind of information you can find here.
The portal is supported by the project “Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for Aral Sea Basin” (CAMP4ASB), implemented by the Central Asian Regional Environmental Center with financial support from World Bank. You can learn more about this project by clicking on the link.
The latest climate change news in Central Asia and around the world is available on the information portal. In addition, information on the planned and implemented activities of the CAMP4ASB project is regularly published. Representatives of various target groups, including representatives of government bodies and hydrometeorological services, civil society organizations, journalists and bloggers, scientists, and specialists, host these events. Trainings, study tours are held regularly, and the Central Asian Climate Change Conference is also organized annually. In the nearest future, we will publish information about this year's regional conference.

In addition, an information portal is also providing data on various contests supported by the project. So, don’t miss your chance in the upcoming contests:
Photo contest on climate change issues in Central Asia “50 images of climate change - time to act”. The deadline for accepting photographs and participants' profiles is May 1, 2020
Student research competition on sustainable management of natural resources in Central Asia. The application deadline is May 31, 2020
In the Information Products portal section, you can also find the results of individual studies on various climate issues, including investment, technology, and climate change monitoring.
In October of this year, the CAMP4ASB project plans to launch a full-blown Central Asian Climate Information Platform. This platform will provide access to updated data and information on climate change from global, regional, and local sources. It will provide tools for analyzing and visualizing data.
