The Project Management Center of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan is responsible for the implementation of Component 2 of the CAMP4ASB project in Tajikistan.
The implementation of the national component aims to increase productivity and address climate change issues by promoting investments in rural production, land management and other activities that contribute to resilience to climate change by providing funding and capacity building for rural communities and resource users, and joint planning Activities and supporting the implementation of climate investment plans at the community level.
The credit line is provided through eligible commercial banks and microfinance organizations that have been selected after conducting their financial and economic analysis in accordance with a set of agreed criteria.
To assist the participating financial institutions involved in the CAMP4ASB project, training was conducted in Dushanbe, Khujand and other districts of Khatlon region between February 13 and April 19, 2017.
